Summer clerk program and graduate opportunities

A summer clerkship with us will provide you with the opportunity to experience working in different areas of law while being involved in practical, challenging work. Our program runs from December to February each year, for approximately ten weeks. Summer clerks gain supervised experience in at least two practice teams within the firm, working on individual assignments and as part of a team to gain hands-on experience. Summer clerks are also provided with opportunities to observe lawyers in action with clients and at Court, including working with Partners.

As a part of the clerkship, if work in the community interests you, you will have the opportunity to become involved in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Foundation. The PricewaterhouseCoopers Foundation was set up to make a significant and lasting impact in our community through our people - working collectively to make a difference. We will also make sure you have fun over your summer clerkship period. You will be involved in social and sporting activities during your time with PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal. If you perform well on the clerkship and enjoy your time with the firm, you may even go back to university with a confirmed graduate position for the following year.

Graduate solicitors are recruited through our summer clerk program and participate in rotations gaining experience in at least two different practices within the firm. We will equip you with the practical and legal skills necessary for a dynamic business world. Our integrated approach to our clients’ business problems means it is helpful for our lawyers to have a broad understanding of business law. Training programs are varied so that you have an opportunity to develop your career across different practice teams. This will give you the ability to identify an area of practice in which you would ultimately like to work. Through PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal’s international network you may also gain experience in dealing with clients and transactions at an international level.

We will not be recruiting for graduates this year and therefore will not be accepting applications.
